Well, there's a simple answer to that. I'm a broke-ass fuckler who's running this site out of my own pocket. I didn't go with a free server, or with a site that hosts 5,000 comics... I wanted something that was higher quality for anyone who might decide that they like the comic, and maybe some of the other stuff that I do as well. Downside is that it takes a chunk of my already-low paycheck to keep this site up. Sucks, that.
